Ah, no wonder I found the style of blocky looking mechs suddenly looking in action like they lost 30 tons under the belt (or reactor core...) Type-82s suddenly jumping and looking like Shiranuis... His art of girls in the cockpit of gaint mechs fit too...
But it was the BETA-chans highschool 4-komas that killed me...

Also, that Prayer of Phantom side story... I so want! Ghost F-4 taking down 2.5 gen F-16s...
