Managed to watch the third episode.

The OP shots are full of teasers, that is becoming difficult for me to take a track at how the development would be moving forward, but this is the okay because the show barely has started.

When I ponder about the words that Prof. Donnar let it slip that they shouldn't rely on the Aquarion to prevent that tragedy from happening again, it gives weight to the plausible theory, that many of you speculated, that EVOL follows from the storyline of the Aquarion OVAs and not the first TV series.

Unfortunately, I've never been able to watch Aquarion: Wings of Glory, the second OVA, to understand how the retelling concluded things with Apollo, Sylvie, and Reika.

Spoiler: But there's a lot of teasers, and the most important ones: 1. There cannot be any real doubt that Kagura and Amata both could be the reincarnations of Apollonius. 2. Izumo, and later Jin in this episode, keep looking at a holographic image of a woman, the same from Amata's flashback; there has to be a connection, unless that woman formed part of Celiane's reincarnation. 3. The Abductors, and Kagura more particularly, are expecting the awakening of their Master, Mikage, who possibly may be the reincarnation of Touma.
