After being woken up in the middle of the night by a text to his phone, Kamijou Touma headed to the location where the text told him to go to.
It's the steel bridge in District 7.
After Kamijou arrived, the one who sent him the text is waiting for him there.
"Misaka...?"
"You forgot something."
She said as she threw something over to him. Kamijou caught it with one hand, and it was the Gekota charm.
That was something Touma lost when he dropped into the Arctic Ocean. Since the strap was severed, the link was changed to a different colour.
"I've kept it for you all this time, don't lose it like that again."
"Sorry."
After Kamijou apologised, he linked the charm onto his phone once again.
Mikoto smiled slightly as she saw him did so.
Her expression is like she's saying 'everything is finally back to how it should be'.
"Someone like you, you'd never stay at one place and not move forward... are you going somewhere else again?"
"That seems to be the case."
Kamijou sighed.
"To be honest, while it looks like I'm in the know, I actually still don't quite understand what's going on right now. As for the mastermind behind all this, apart from the name I know nothing else. However, this now also concerns Academy City. This isn't something happening in Academy City which force me to deal with it; it's something that targets me and it dragged Academy City into it... If that's the case, I can't just do nothing."
"Mah, I know you're not someone that listen to others, and I won't try and stop you now."
Mikoto's business seemed to be only about the Gekota Charm.
Kamijou placed his phone back inside his pockets.
"Then see you later."
Kamijou said.
He turned away from Mikoto and is about to leave.
Leaving the steel bridge.
Walking with big steps towards the territory away from this world ruled by Academy City's science and common sense.
The hand of this boy is clenched by Mikoto.
Indeed, the boy was just about to go far away.
Into the ears of Kamijou is Mikoto's words:

This was an awesome ending...though i wish they had a scene like this for index aswell, considering she is the main heroine....atleast in name>.>.
