Restia being "dead' actually serves a purpose for Kamito's growth right now. For Restia and Kamito to hook up right now would definitely defeat the purpose of what he had to go through and learn during the events of the 12th volume and what we can expect from the upcoming ones.
It's likely that Kamito will find out about Restia again, but for now it's better for him to focus on the now and the events that are following because he, Claire, and the others are about to fight or be swept into a war, and he needs to fight with all he has without no distractions or hesitations.
