I actually realised that there is one more possible outcome for this event...
Chihiro saw Ayumi'bag. And then realised something from Ayumi(her sock perhaps) stuck out under the blanket. She then just make up some excuses and walk out.
By the time she got out, it starts to rain again....
PS: On second thought,it's gonna be too dramatic that way
