I actually really like their depiction and setup.

Spoiler for The Purebreeds:

Nothing like 3 assholes cooperating, as in working together to make sure the other 2 don't do anything fishy, because at the first chance they get they'll kill each other and take all their shit.

That's what you get for worshiping an evil god that likes betrayal and doesn't trust anyone, I suppose.
Even their god is worried that if he tells them the protagonist can break souls, the purebreeds will just try to use the protagonist to kill him.

Talk about always having a knife to your back with these 3.
