ADV site for manga has never been that great on current stuff or updates.
We don't really know if they will release volume 8 and the just released number 9. Probably one day.
At the end of volume 6 they showed a preview/add for volume 7. But with all their company problems who knows when they'll release it. From volume 1 to 2 it was nearlly 2 1/2 years. 3 to 4 over two years passed.
I've hand number 7 since July of 06 almost 2 years. Way too long.
