I think that Zwei is right at what he says. Sadly, the three OVAs were so ridiculous. Then they managed to screw up the ending.

Eeven if you make the rest of the episodes perfect, if you don't do a good final, then that series is just mediocre.

@Zwei: Perfect ending!!! That can be easily my true ending for Phantom! It has a perfect conclusion!

Spoiler: If some people are happy about the ending, thinking that Elen/Reiji fans get trolled, there is a serious problem with them. Even if DDT ending happened, I'd still want Reiji to live!
