Hmm, the drama CD was from late 2010 and Hitomi Harada sang for an image CD in 2009. At the very least the chances of the cast staying is there, but it's hard to predict with these things.
Haven't read the manga or novels but if thelead is as badass as mentioned, I'll be happy for Shimono finally getting to play a non-boke role in a while.
