Looking lack, at what point do people think Aldnoah.Zero lost it's way? I think it's after Asseylum was killed the 2nd time without any repercussions. The time when she was choked by Rayet. You can't do that in a story more than once and maintain literary integrity. Not counting the assassination attempt int he 1st episode, she had been killed 3 times with no long-term ill-effects of any sort. For me, it's impossible to take a story seriously and have a mortal character fake-out 4 deaths.
