I agree with the general sentiment, people are silly to take the regular season overly seriously. Point-blank, when the playoffs begin, Tim Duncan is almost certainly the best player on the floor. And some of that cannot even be measured by statistics. People always forget that he is the best defensive big-man in basketball, that is one of the biggest reasons the Spurs have always been so successful. As for Garnett, his supporters should question whether, if your team was in a tight game against a great team, like the Suns for example, would you want the ball in his hands on the offensive end? He has no go-to move; in that scenario he would be probably use his fall away jumper, like he always does, whereas Duncan would muscle in on the low-block and score, or pass out of a double-team to a wide-open man.
