My memories (
) of how S;G's time travel works are a bit fuzzy, so I don't completely understand what Kurisu did.
During that train station scene, we see two versions of Kurisu. I'm guessing that the one with her younger self is the version that happened in every other world line, while the one where she kissed Okabe only happens in Steins Gate. If so:
1. How does Okabe know about what happened in the past in Steins Gate when he only jumped to this timeline 1 year ago? Did he inherit every piece of memory from the previous Steins Gate's Okabe?
2. Why does Okabe not remember anything about this until after Kurisu explicitly goes back? Was the event retroactively applied to Okabe's memory? Or would that mean this is actually a different Steins Gate line instead?
