Thats all good and fine, but consider this - the purpose of romanizing is to "translate" japanese (or any other language not using Latin alphabet) writing to their equivalents in
Latin Alphabet, not specifically
english language. Therefore it isn't "incorrect" just because it didn't look perfect when using English as a milestone.
