if naegi got killed, it would have been a very big problem.
so we have the mole and the 16th student, they don't know each other, and only monobear knows that the 16th student exists.
the one who attacked naegi isn't necessarily the 16th student. it was wearing a monobear mask, but it could also be one of his henchmen.
I won't speculate on who's the mole for now, aside from knowing that it isn't celes apparently, we only have the teacup as a clue. Also, why haven't the mole told monobear about the laptop yet?
as for the ED scene, I'm guessing its a troll, or monobear testing out sakura's power
