High School DxD. First Impressions

Initially, I was indecisive whether or not to pick this show for the season, because I made my mind at selecting only four shows to watch in this winter's anime season. Nevertheless, I ended watching it as well due to after a week of inactivity in the internet.

Yuki Kaji is rising into the anime community fandom having a substantial schedule with last year's Ao no Exorcist, the ongoing Guilty Crown, and this recently started anime.

I will comment that the theme of an unfortunate boy getting killed, and later revived by a supernatural master whom always is revealed to be a girl reignites my love for previous shows like Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? and the Princess Ressurrection OVAs.

To spice things up High School DxD offers a lot of ecchiness fan-service substantially, though those are better appreciated if you watch the Director's Cut and will be more appreciated when the Blu-Ray version of the episodes come out.
