If I measure my waist at my belly button I come to the maximum of 79 CM, but the other measurement they have listed for hip is then far too big for me, my hip size is around 2 sizes smaller than the amount they have listed with the corresponding waist size |
According to the picture and description it seem that you wear it waist high. And yes, these sizings seem to have a bigger difference between waist-hips than westerns usually have. I think the difference in waist-hips in western(European) charting is usually about 25-26 cm, here it's 29 cm. So the more accurate thing to say here would be that Japanese women have wider hips, which make their waists look smaller
If I was you, I'd only look for the waist here, since it's a skirt, and the design is more puffy anyways. Do what you think is right...
