You know Vibeke, our definition of a beautiful and fitting ending is vastly different, because I wouldn't consider the endings of Bokura ga Ita, Air, and SaiKano to be really beautiful. I don't question that the anime is beautiful overall, but I have the feeling the ending isn't quite like as what the poster wants.
