The show scores points for exploring the idea of how people relate to each other - what combination of physicality, emotions, and intellect is involved. If your best *guy* friend became a girl (down to her DNA), would you have a problem carrying the relationship further and why? That's the dilemma that Tomari and Asuta face.
Unfortunately, the series trips up or falls flat in a few aspects but the "what if" psychological scenario is still very interesting.
