I dunno, but I figure for training purposes, the decoy are kept fragile to conserve power. Besides, projecting a MOVING barrier would be very complex process even for I.S. core, much less for mere arena.
I think the better approach would be object forming randomly and the trainee is given a time limit to destroy them
