The Great Mass, too! I think I find it a bit catchier than the former, actually. I tried branching out a bit more recently but it wasn't hugely successful... I think the furthest I got from my usual symphonic/power metal fixes is
Candlemass, I quite liked
Epicus Doomicus Metallicus (particularly
A Sorcerer's Pledge).
And ZGoten, I can't say I wasn't a bit startled when I found guest reviews by you while browsing through Metalstorm, although I really should've been expecting it, considering your expertise XD It's a pity there're no other bands that sound like Kamelot, I did look at a lot of other symphonic/power bands and it was so true
Ah well, time to go listen to The Black Halo again, then...
