Okay, so you would agree, then, that people should undergo a background check before being allowed to purchase weapons. I was confused because what you said sounded like what I heard so much of in Tennessee, that background checks should be repealed, that they should not be extended to cover the gun show loophole, and last year they even passed a law
claiming the state was exempt from federal firearm laws.
