========== Meanwhile, in the skies over the Pacific Ocean ==========
A private jet cruises across the clear sky as it heads for Japan.
“Almost back home… Fuuu~” Cecilia mumbles as she gazes out of the window, looking at the seemingly endless ocean littered with a few signal lights from random ships.
“Milady.” A gentle voice greets her, as she then turns her head to find her personal maid and childhood friend, Chelsea Blackett, standing next to her seat.
“Ah, Chelsea! What is it?”
“Just wondering if you’re all right. You’ve been sighing at the window for the past hour…”
“Eh, well… Uum… I just…”
“Missing that person, I guess?”
“Yeah…”
“Well then, would you like to talk about it?”
“I dunno, Chelsea… It’s kind of complicated.”
“Take your time, Milady. I’ll be right here if you need something.” Chelsea politely bows then begins to walk away.
“Ah, Chelsea!” Cecilia calls her, who then quickly goes back to her side.
“Yes, Milady?”
“Actually… Please sit with me.”
“As you wish.”
Chelsea then sits on the seat across Cecilia, looking at her with concerned eyes.
“Chelsea…”
“Yes, Milady?”
“Do you think he sees me as a third wheel…?” Cecilia asks with a slight hint of sorrow.
“Milady, I…”
“It’s okay, Chelsea... Speak freely, I’m all-ears.”
“Well, Milady… I don’t think Arisawa-sama would see you as such.”
“But… Tsurugi-chan... She likes him too.”
“Think about it, Milady. Would you love a man if he’s heartless to others?”
“Well that’s…”
“It would only hurt you more if you think negatively, Milady… How about we pay them a visit when we arrive?”
“Sounds fair… just that…”
“Hm…?”
“I don’t know where he lives…”
“Maybe Katami-sama will know. She lives in Noshiro, right?”
“Yeah… but I don’t know if I could look at her in the eyes at this state. Let alone asking about Inami…”
“I’m sure she’ll be happy to see you, Milady.”
“Chelsea…”
“You’re friends with her, right? Then a brief visit shouldn’t be a problem.”
