That said, this was another boring fighting chapter that used plot holes and inconsistant power levels to show what a badass Zen is. I miss the quirky school comedy it used to be. I hope this manga gets a mercy killing soon.

They know Medaka likes everyone so her saying she likes Zenkichi shouldn't warrant that kind of response from them. Unless she was elevating him above the normal status she gives everyone. I do not particularly care whether she likes Zenkichi more now or not, I just found the line potentially amusing.
