Did Not Do The Research - While by and large a great story, To Aru Majutsu no Index makes a set of quite hilarious assertions about Christianity. The Church of England is apparently Puritan, the Puritans practice artificing and exorcism, and the Anglican Church and the Vatican are such bosom buddies as to practice forbidden magic together and share operatives. While extremely jarring, it leads This Troper to laughter so often, and sits so well with the otherwise great story, that it only adds to things.
