I haven't been lurking on the Nanoha thread (don't follow the series), and thus do not understand the high activity on the fanfic thread there. For myself, quite simply, I'm looking for more readers and people with whom to discuss my fic in progress, which integrates a lot of issues and topics from the "Geography and World History" thread, the "Weapons thread."
It's cool though; you're right, CG hasn't inspired a great deal of fan-writing in the English speaking world yet.
