As for D.C. II, as DanielSong39 said, I don't think "picking a girl" will be the main focus, as it'll probably just become obvious over time who Yoshiyuki has feelings for. The first 2/3 of the story are really more about school life, and the interactions between the cast. The nice thing about the D.C. II game, at least, is that there's lots of that. I wouldn't think they'll really delve too deeply into the romance side of things (other than brushing the surface) until 2/3 through the show (sort of like the original D.C. anime). We'll see, though.
