Just observed something interesting today.

Spoiler for Saki S1 Ep 20 & S2 Ep 1:

In S1, when Awai's final hand was shown, it was a men chin tsumo with no double riichi, meaning her ability to double riichi, kan and use the ura-dora at that point wasn't thought of yet.

Oh, and in S1, the tiles were blue, in S2, they were gold.

At least the girl who looked shocked had the same uniform and still sat to Awai's right.
