I'm thinking it be measured in meters. (or centimeters at the least since it appears to be as wide as a whole tree.)
Yamato's Wave Motion Gun is listed as a 200 cm weapon (2 meters wide). That just the port it come from, not the massive firing gate in the ship's bow.
