Spoiler for Necronomica Magi Eucliwood Magica 06 - In Spite of Appearances:
Despite the horror setting and amount of blood spilled, this show still has a warm, fuzzy heart. Friendship is still present, and even this Kyoko, like the other one, might not even be all that bad. Driven mad by power, perhaps, but there's still a good person somewhere in there. Seeing the world momentarily become white on black was freaky, and it was nice to see Ariel in person. The bookends with the first episode were also pretty nice. Circular storytelling is a good technique when used right.
Somewhat postmodern, a bit world weary, but ultimately, things turn out alright here. The median of magical girls for this season, which always makes it a warm place to return to.
