I don't know.. compared to the protagonist from Maison Ikkoku and SDF Macross, Tomoya's personality is absolutely magnetic. You see, Kenshiro is one of the few characters that I like from 80's anime but comparing him to a high school romance drama protagonist is just wrong. As is comparing that particular "80's loli" to Ika-chan, a protagonist from a very lighthearted comedy show.
