Exactly what are the beams in SEED? I know that they have proton beams but what about the ordinary green ones? Plasma? I know beam weapons were plasma in Wing.
And we don't know if it's Freedom, it's only implied - just like it's implied that missiles killed them in the promo. Besides, Calamity does NOT fire upwards, so don't rule it out.
