The last page of this chapter made my day. No. F*** that--It made this month for me so far. At first I was greatly disappointed to find out Unohana didn't get selected to be the next captain commander. Seeing Ichigo and Renji recover wasn't all too exciting either. But that last page...well played Kubo, well played. Considering how it seemed like tradition for the title of Kenpachi to get passed on only through the defeat of the previous Kenpachi (except for one questionable instance prior to this), I have to say, I didn't see this coming. I knew Retsu was a badass. But the first Kenpachi? Who would've thought?
