This game seems to lag my PS3 a lot. Also, Jainus seems to be meh in battle. He basically fires 2-3 shots, maybe hits one for like 30 damage, and that's it. Weiss, Fiona, and Aina are all stronger than he is. Eva... about on par, at least he has more HP than she does.
