For sure. "It's only the Fairy Tale" in Mai-HiME is a perfect example. The English grammar is poor and the pronunciation/accent of the lyrics is definitely noticeable, but the song itself is awesome, and if you can get past the poor grammar, the lyrics are pretty chilling (and perfect for the series). Plus the singer has a beautiful voice and the music is very moving, so it's still one of my favorites.

Added: The theme song for Hoshi no Koe: Through the Years and Far Away is very similar. The grammar is actually pretty good in the lyrics, but again, the lyrics are very heartfelt (esp considering the plot of the anime) and the singer/music is exceptional.
