It's a funny thing - Usually Visual Novels get much stronger emotions out of me than Anime does. Still, there were a couple that stirred something in me.

Usagi Drop - "Awwww" all around. Didn't think it'd be my sort of show, but it was incredibly sweet, in a good way.

Code Geass / Death Note - Completely over the top at some points (alright, alright... pretty much anytime), but I was so awed by the cast and all the plotting/twists happening that I was glued to my seat all the time.

Ga-Rei:Zero - The twist at the end of the first episode left me speechless. "Reincarnation", as a music, still makes me feel gloomy because of what happened while it played.

Seitokai no Ichizon/Yakuindomo - (Perverted) laughs all around.

Berserk - Shock and awe at the last moments. Followed by "Holy cow.. the bad guys actually.. won?" and much rejoicing.

Couple others here and there. People still won't believe me when I tell them I've watched/played through all of Key's works without as much as a tear or a sad sigh.
