I've had black pudding. While it doesn't taste all that bad, the iron after taste lasts all day long, and that is annoying as well as disagreeable.
As for bacon, shatter bacon. Cooked short of burnt. Crispy enough to brake, little to no floppiness. Also good for a sandwich. Crunchy bacon and mayo.
