I think the main reason of most people who dislike this game is Dante's bad redesign while Vergil's redesign is much more welcomed because NT did it rather well. People actually don't really mind about redesign and the characters don't need to necessarily look like their original looks, but Dante's redesign is just bad
and about the disc-locked content of SFXT, personally I don't see the problem of it. It has been around for a very long time, right? just look at those trial downloadable PC programs.
