Spoiler for Kaminomi II-VIII - Professor Keima's Funtastic Lecture:
This episode seemed to have a recurring theme of embellishing things. Keima's "history" of VNs was suitably warped (awesome, if warped), and it was interesting to see Elsie get interested in game culture. Keima doesn't seem like the kind of person to follow the anime based on his games (and I wonder what his thoughts on eroge, both of the much-porn and little-porn varieties are), making him even more singular-minded than the next episode preview indicates. The idea of playing a rough beta of a game is tempting, I'll admit. It's probably not as buggy as Crayon, at least.
For the second half, the embellishments came in the form of the report. Reminds me of those scale models of my development back when they were still selling houses, if a little bigger in scale. The dolls seem to have some degree of sentience, given their....creative interpretation of Haqua's command. After the cloudy, gloomy last few episodes, having one that's brightly lit and distorting of reality was a lot of fun to watch.
