not sure what this falls under, but I believe in an omnipotent entity that created the universe with laws to govern it but nothing beyond. He created the laws of physics and the laws of physics eventually got the universe to where it is now.
I think all the organized religions out there are spewing Fear or eternal punishment, Uncertainty of what happens after death/etc, and Doubt to scientific explanations of the uncertain. FUD.
