I was playing games such as Final Fantasy 7 and Suikoden at the age of 8, and enjoyed them fully. Teletubbies? Toy Story? To hell with that.

Your whole idea about complex controls and long combinations of button mashing makes no sense at all. Simple controls are better, since you don't have to spend hours just to learn a new move.

One thing I do agree with, however, is that the story makes a big part of the game. The gameplay is also *VERY* important, though. More than the story, actually.
