Spoiler for Ep3:
I enjoyed this one overall. Houtarou really does think before he gets involved in things. He didn't want to outright accept because he'd be taking responsibility for how things would end up impacting Eru. Of course he eventually settled on a round-a-bout way of saying he'd cooperate while mentally giving himself the excuse that he isn't responsible. I can't wait for the phone call with that sister since it will be interesting to hear what else she might know. Maybe she read the original anthology.
Once again think Eru gets Houtarou moving more than he'd expect himself to. Before he knew it the extra cup of coffee he had ordered was already gone. Though wow she's given him a tough case to crack here.
Have to say it but hearing what was in the second volume of the anthology had me thinking "I'm curious" . Just what on earth happened in that previous year? Sounds like something pretty crazy went down, but I can't even begin to speculate. Something so big though that when Eru's uncle explained it she started to cry and managed to forget everything said.
In terms of the guy smoking I had most of it figured out. Some nice blackmail and all because Houtarou was too lazy to take the anthologies back himself .
