It seems like Chifuyu stopped piloting for some reason when she saved Ichika. Maybe she feels like it's her piloting that caused Ichika to be kidnapped in the first place which lowered her synch rating due to her mentality? Houki's synch rate was lowered as well when she didn't like the IS
