Quote:
Feb 14 (Thu): Fans of manga, a Japanese style of comics, are in for a treat at this weekend's inaugural Manga Festival.

The three-day festival kicks off tomorrow at 2pm with a lecture on the future of manga publishing in the ballroom of the Mandarin Orchard Singapore. The lecture is free to the public, who can log on to the festival's website at www.mangafestival2013.com to register for the event.

There will be a free exhibition of manga at The Arts House, where visitors can browse through more than 400 Japanese manga.

There will also be an autograph-signing session with award-winning manga writers, including Yaro Abe (Shinya Shokudou) and Mine Yoshizaki (Sergeant Keroro), at Kinokuniya's Orchard Road store on Saturday starting from 2pm.
