I wrote it in the interpretation of the ending back then in the novel thread. To me it is open, whether they live out a life as open lovers. But fact is, they do love each other (I do agree that Kirino's love sprung out of admiration, but due to the estrangement inadvertendly caused by Manami her longing turned admiration into romantic love), and want to remain by each other's side. That's why they both turned down potential love interests not once, but multiple times, and both stated that they don't want to see each other with a girl-, boyfriend. So, even if they don't act openly like lovers, it is not like they are open for other relationships.
