Yeah, Lambdadelta's ribbons can be problematic... but you know there'' an easier way to color them. Do you know how to use a tool called "Polygonal Lasso Tool" ? With this tool, all you have to do it trace the objec you want to color (like, for example, Lambda's ribbons) and use the bucket fill tool to fill it with color. It takes getting used, to... but when you master it, coloring can be a lot faster.
