I love seinen because it provides the best variety. For example, Afternoon gives us Ah! My Goddess, Genshiken, YKK, Mushishi, Gunsmith Cats, Blade of the Immortal, Blame!

In addition, we have all the countless bishoujo magazines and novels.
You can't say it's all action. You can't say it's all romance. It is every subject matter under the sun, moon, and stars starring schoolkids to old men, with stories ranging from childish to very mature (and mature I also don't just mean pornographic mature, but mentally mature). Many women manga-ka and writers also write under a seinen label.
I'd venture to say almost all very-late-night anime shows (the hardcore shows) are seinen or based on seinen properties. (The only exception would be the josei noitamina timeslot).
That's why I try shows such as this, because I know that with the target audience in mind I can expect to be surprised somewhat by a seemingly kiddy show. I just hope I won't be disappointed, at least each ep is standalone and has a chance to redeem itself.
Somewhat back on topic, so it's Kisa's voice! Kisa was one of my most favorite anime characters, simply because she's messed up and a total slacker, like me! Thanks for pointing that out.
