Pastel given a definite ending with definite closure can become a great anime. Other than that, remove the goddess-factor and it probably will be another AMG ripoff.
I'm still rooting for GOTH. The art is just so awesome, if any animators/companies/whatnot read this thread, PLEASE ANIMATE IT. It's also quite inviting that it's terse and succinct, and doesn't waste time ... as well as have some cool (psycho) characters.
