If you can't see the video, you are probably missing one of the video codecs. Try VideoLan, ffdshow and the new xvid 1 beta 3 combined.

If it still doesn't work, remove all your codecs and install ONLY VideoLan.

If you can't hear sounds, it's an audio codec problem. Install the proper codecs for audio and see if the problem is still there.


DON'T use the Divx player. It's trash. Get mplayer or MPC/BSPlayer.
