I would be very surprised if Naruto beats Kakazu on his own without any assistance or interferance. Up to this point, Kakazu was holding on his own against multiple ninjas and it can be argued that he was on the verge of winning the fight. It wasn't like the case of Hidan at all.

This would also change the plot since pretty much Naruto would be at Akatsuki level which I think is too soon considering his jutsu isn't even completed yet.

My predictions is he may take out 1 of Kakazu hearts; maybe even 2 and then proceed to get majorly owned by Kakazu unless everyone there jumps in.

You can have high charisma and still be dumb. Helping and inspiring people isn't really an indication of strength. Also for the last sentence, I would be careful of the wording. Both Kakashi and the 4th have jutsus (the MS and the Death God summon respectively) that can in theory even deal with Kyuubi one way or the other.

Back to the topic though, Naruto has alot of 'street smarts' although he does has that clumsy side of him.
