He has a younger twin sister that goes to a highly known private school named St. Francesca Academy and is actually the student council president there.
Because of his high grades, plus inverted personality, he was either isolated or being picked on due to his academic marks. However, he doesn't care about it much but his inner complex about being weak grows each day (somewhat like haruyuki but not to HIS extreme).
Only got involved with Brain Burst after overhearing several students talking about it and as a joke by the students, installed the program onto Akiharu, hoping that it would fail so he would serve as an additional scapegoat for bullying.
Unfortunately for the bullies, the program was successful and Akiharu started off with his duel avatar. He didn't have a good start at all. He had a 4 loss losing streak before he made the decision to join a small Guild known as the Guardians, who taught the basics and potential strategies to use his own personal strength.
With that in mind, and making new friends, he began to open up more to people and helped new Burst Linkers into the game.
One day, he introduced the idea about Brain Burst to his sister Yuki, she coldly rejected the idea about virtual reality and a small rift between siblings was formed (the reason why is that Yuki was already a Burst Linker, much earlier than Aki, and as the 3rd Gen Black King)
During Akiharu's casual days to earn additional points, he often tries to complete Mercenary contracts (a new addition to the 3rd generation Accelerated world as a creative way to earn more Burst points) and finds it more entertaining to complete quests than killing people.
That is, until he was betrayed on one quest....

Well, seeing that that fic is further into future, it's okay...but we still don't know what happens when a DA reaches Lv10
